Always keep hotel doors locked, and store valuables in secure areas. In the world almost all people behave the same way, so be as you would at home, and always stay alert and aware of your surroundings. 

12.     Before travelling, a senior citizen should get checked out by the doctor. In addition to getting cleared for travel, this is a good time to make sure you are up to date on all vaccinations, including vaccinations that are recommended based on the country of travel. 

13.     If you are deaf you do not need to remove your hearing aid when you are passing by the airport scanners. People who are deaf cannot sit in exit row seats for safety reasons so make sure you double check the seat on your ticket and notify your flight attendant when you get on the plane.
